I also looked into implementing a photo gallery but I wanted to use an opensource prebuilt one. The only one I liked is Gallery2. For this to work safe_mode must be disabled on the server box this site resides on. Unfortunatly, it’s enabled. I just bought a Flickr Pro account instead. To be honest, I like Flickr so much I’d probably just rather use this instead of having my own. Last, but not least, I’ve enabled user registration. Feel free to signup.
